# How to get Kahoot! basic 40 Player limit (from 10)

How many players can play a kahoot in one session: the number of players varies based on the account type, type of usage, and subscription. Learn more below.

💡 There's no limit to how many times you can host or assign a kahoot. **During every session that you start, you can host as many players as your player limit allows.**

☝️ 50 + 50 player boost means that the player limit is **50 per game**. You can exceed this limit **once a month** and host games for up to 100 players. The **boost** lasts one day and is activated automatically, no need to enable or schedule it.
