# Creating a Zoom Room

### Creating a meeting room via Zoom

1. Enter the Zoom program, then select New Meeting (orange button) to create a new meeting room and join immediately.
2. Once in the meeting room, click on the green shield icon at the top left corner. Details of the meeting room will appear. You can send the Meeting ID or Invite link to students or individuals to enter the meeting room.

### Creating a meeting room via Web Browser

1. Access via <https://cmu-th.zoom.us/>&#x20;
2. Select 'Host a meeting' in the top right corner. Choose to create an open or closed camera meeting room.
3. The system will prompt you to open the Zoom program. Select 'Open Zoom Meetings' and enter the meeting room immediately.
4. Once in the meeting room, click on the green shield icon at the top left corner. Details of the meeting room will appear. You can send the Meeting ID or Invite link to students or individuals to enter the meeting room.
