- Instructors or personnel must have CMU account to use Zoom Pro.
- Request for Zoom Pro can be done via an online platform provided
- Only users who have completed the training course can request Zoom Pro. The training courses includes ITSC training or online TLIC courses.
- If the Zoom Pro license has not been used for 30 days, Chiang Mai University has right to revoke the request. The user's license will roll back to Zoom Basic until the new request for Zoom Pro is made.

When logging in, a window will appear for the you to confirm your identity with a CMU Account.
After registration with a CMU Account, press button 2 to request Zoom Pro license.
Once you have Zoom Pro license and press this button again, the system will take you to the Zoom website management page: https://cmu-th.zoom.us/profile
You can contact the Zoom admin in your organization as shown in the image. The Zoom admin will have the authority to manage, allocate, add, or remove Zoom Pro license for everyone in the organization according to the organization's quota.
Once clicked, you will enter the page showing the details of your Zoom. Press the "Request Zoom Pro" button.
When the button changes to "Revoke", it means that your account now has Zoom Pro license. If you click the "Revoke" button, your account will change to a Zoom Basic account.
The "Zoom Video Conference" section will quickly take you to the Zoom page.
When you click the Join Zoom Meeting button, the system will enter the Zoom app and go to the Zoom ID entry page.
When you click the Create Zoom Meeting button, the system will enter the Zoom app and create a Meeting using your account.
The "Quota in your organization" bar will show the number of accounts that have received Zoom Pro licenses and will have usage information for each account.
(For Faculty/Department Admin) The "Manage Users in your organization" bar will have buttons to Add/Revoke Zoom Pro license for users affiliated with your faculty or department.
Currently, TLIC has added a method to use Zoom Pro license for users without a Pro license (status in the system is Zoom Basic) by adding the Service Zoom Pro 300 Participants. When booking privileges in all 4 formats, upon successful booking, you will receive the license for 5 hours and 30 minutes per once booking.
In other words, if your Zoom account is Basic and you want to use Zoom Pro license, you can book to use Zoom Pro for a total of 5 hours and 30 minutes. When the time is up, it will revert back to Zoom Basic as before.
Large Meeting 1000 Participants (Large-scale meeting focusing on online teaching with a large number of students)
Webinar 500 Participants (Emphasizing online training or seminars, which require conversion before starting Zoom and using Generate ID only)
Pro 300 Participants - 01 (Suitable for teaching in classes with no more than 300 students)
Pro 300 Participants - 02 (Suitable for teaching in classes with no more than 300 students)
Go to CMU Zoom and select topic 3 'Book Zoom Large Meeting / Webinar'.
The system will take you to the booking page as shown in the image above.
Select the service you want *If not selected, you cannot proceed to the next step.
Choose the desired date, then select a time slot. If the date is shown in gray, it means that the slots for that day are fully booked, so it is advisable to book in advance.
Select the time you want to book. The system will only show the available time slots, divided into 05:30 AM (05.30 - 10.59 AM), 11:00 AM (11.00 AM - 4.29 PM), and 04:30 PM (4.00 PM - 0.00 AM). If the time slot you need is related, it is recommended to book 2 slots to ensure availability.
After booking the date and time, fill in your information, including your full name and CMU IT Account
Click Book to confirm booking
The system will send a confirmation email to you. You can edit the date and time or cancel the booking from that email.
In the case that these bookings are full as well, another alternative is recommended, which is MS Teams Live Events.
You can inform CMU Account and contact TLIC through all channels (JIRA Services/LINE OA) to request License A3 and use it to create a Teams Live Event that supports up to 10,000 viewers.
