Zoom Webinar

Due to the limited availability of Zoom Webinar and Large meeting licenses, reservations will be granted on a first-come first-served basis. It is recommended to make reservations in advance.

The function of Zoom Webinar 1,000 is to expand the space for Zoom participants from the normal CMU Zoom Pro, which has no time limit but limits the number to 300 people. It will have additional special functions as follows.

What can Zoom Webinar 1,000 do?

Zoom Webinar is suitable for conducting training or online seminars, focusing on speakers and invited guests. There are assistants to manage and facilitate the program (Host/Co-Host). Selecting questions from seminar participants, the participants do not have the right to turn on the camera to speak with the speakers, but they can chat or ask questions, etc.

Create a Meeting using only Generate ID and press Convert before using.

Cautions: Please ensure that you have successfully converted the Meeting to a Webinar before others join the Zoom room (others here include participants in the Waiting Room and other Co-Hosts). If others join your room before converting, you will not be able to Convert to a Webinar. The solution is to have those who have joined leave the Zoom room completely before you can Convert to a Webinar. Alternatively, you can create a new Zoom Meeting room > Convert the room to a Webinar > Then open it for participants to join the meeting room.

When booking a Webinar or Large Meeting, you will not receive the Zoom Meeting ID link. You can use your own Zoom Meeting ID for pre-promotion once the booking is successful.

You will only have access to the Webinar or Large Meeting on the scheduled date and time (you cannot test before the scheduled time. If you need to test the system, it is recommended to make an additional booking for testing before the actual time).

You can request information about the person who has reserved the time slot on the day and time you want to contact the person and negotiate. (TLIC has no involvement in negotiating or transferring the time slot by any means, as Zoom Webinar and Large meeting rights are limited, conditions will be based on the booking sequence, first come first served).
