Go to the left menu and select Quizzes.
Click on +Quiz.
Entering the new Quiz creation page.
Choose New Quizzes and click Submit if you still want to create Classic Quizzes, do not select [2].
Add details to the Quiz.

Assignment Group
Display Grade
If you do not want this Quiz to count towards the final grade, do not select [5].
Assign Quiz
[1] Assign to everyone, individual, or specific section here.
Due and available date at [2] or [3]
Save the Quiz created. If you want the learners in the course to see the Quiz immediately, select [2].
Go to Build to add questions into Quiz
On the Build page, you can write the title and description of your Quiz. [1]
[2] Access the list of questions you have in the Item Bank (similar to Moodle's Question Bank).
[3] Manage outcomes.
[4] Click to view a sample exam from the learner's perspective.
[5] If there are multiple questions, you can skip to the next question using the navigation bar on the left side of the Build page.
To add a question to the Quiz, click on the + button at the bottom of the screen.
Choose the type of Quiz [2] or select from the Item Bank by clicking [1] or Stimulus [3].
Fill in the quiz details
[1] Title
[2] Description (Question Stem)
[3] Types of answer (which will depend on the question's type)
[4] Additional options to include in the question such as providing a calculator, having each option with different scores, or automatically shuffling the options.
[5] Manage Outcome
[6] Add Question to Item Bank
[7] Point
[8] Feedback
Once complete, click on Done [9]
If you want to delete a question, select the trash bin icon on the right-hand side.
Click on the arrow sign
You will be able to view the sequence of the questions [1], the type of question [2], the score [3], the description [4], and the total score [5].
You can click on [1] to view the full question, and if you want to swap the position of the question, you can click and hold on [2] and drag the question to the desired order.
Click on Return to go back to the Quizzes page
The Setting menu is in the tab at the top of the Build page.
The system will rearrange the order of all questions within the Quiz.
When importing questions using Item Bank, the system will continue to randomly select questions, and this setting will have no effect.
The system will shuffle the order of all answer options within the Quiz. The types of Quiz that have an effect are Multiple Choice, Multiple Answer, and Matching Quiz. In case it is unselected, the system will display the order of answer options as you have created.
Selecting Shuffle Answer cannot confirm that the order of students will be different. Some may show the same order of options. The display depends on the number of answers in each question.
This option will allow the system to display one question at a time, with the backtracking option. Choose [2].
Require the students to enter the code to access the Quiz, set the desired code at [2].
Set the time limit for doing the Quiz. The setting can be in hours and minutes.
The duration of the task is referenced from Assign Quiz. The system will automatically submit the answers when the set time in Assign Quiz is reached.
Set specific IP Address ranges that can access the Quiz. You can enter and add the desired ranges in [2] and [3].
It is a calculator for students to use during the Quiz without the need for additional equipment or opening other programs. Students can choose between two types of calculators: Basic and Scientific.
Allow students to delete their previously answered responses from the question and leave the answer blank.
This part allows learners to take the Quiz more than once. The number of attempts can be customized as well as which attempt to keep the score. For example, they can take the Quiz an unlimited number of times, and the score that will be recorded is the highest score obtained.
Limits the number of times a learner can take the Quiz. For example, they can take it twice. The score they receive is the highest score they achieve.
Set the time interval between entering to take the Quiz in each round, in order to prevent learners from immediately continuing. The option can be set in days, hours, and minutes.
Use this option not to show the quiz score to the learners after completing it.
