To record a video during a Zoom meeting for later viewing, there are 2 methods:
Video files, audio files, and chat logs from the meeting will be uploaded to the cloud, specifically OneDrive. The advantages include convenience, speed, not consuming personal computer storage, and files being kept on OneDrive without deletion. The steps for Cloud Recording are as follows
1.Go to https://zoom.tlic.cmu.ac.th/
In case it's your first time using it, select "Register with CMU Account" and complete the registration process.
In case you have registered before, select "Manage Your Zoom License" (yellow button).
2.Enable the feature "Store Cloud Recording in Your OneDrive (Beta)."
3.When the meeting starts, go to the Zoom menu bar, select "Record," then click on "Record to the Cloud" (or press Alt+C shortcut key).
4.To pause recording, press "Pause Recording," and to stop recording, press "Stop Recording."
5.When you stop recording, a notification will appear. Press "Yes" to stop recording and start uploading the recording file to the Cloud.
6.Access the file on OneDrive or go to Zoom.Files on Zoom will remain on the Cloud for 7 days and will be automatically deleted.
Video files, audio files, and chat log files of meetings will be recorded and stored on the computer itself, which can be uploaded or moved to other channels. The method of Local Recording is as follows:
1.When the meeting starts, go to the Zoom menu bar, select Record, then click on Record to the Computer (or press the shortcut key Alt+R).
2.To pause recording, press "Pause Recording," and to stop recording, press "Stop Recording."
3.When you stop recording, a notification will appear that the file is being recorded. Wait until it is complete.
4.When the system has successfully recorded the file, a window displaying the folder where the recording is stored will appear, along with all meeting recording files.
